One of the most memorable and beautiful places we've stayed at thanks to our hosts Lori, Randy and their staff. We made a mistake and booked ourselves for the wrong night. Lori felt something was off and even before we were able to get in touch about our error, she had a hunch what had happened and blocked the room for a second night. They were gracious and did not charge us for OUR mistake and we are incredibly grateful. Thanks to Lori, we had one of the most relaxing and peaceful New Years celebration and an even better morning waking up to a breathtaking view with coffee in the hot tub. Our room was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. We were invited to an evening fire pit, we shared drinks and snacks and had a chance to get to know the lovely folks running their small business. We highly recommend this hidden gem. We will definitely return. Thank you so much for your warmth and hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Stunning view from our room. It was a nice little get away from the city. The only little downside we found was the heating didn’t keep us too warm, but I was pretty prepared and brought my heated blanket. The fire alarm is also pretty sensitive because we had made pizza in the oven, and when we took it out, the alarm was quick to go off despite it not being burnt or there being any smoke. Other than the small minor issues, this place is quite special to my partner and I. We’ll be back again! :)

My husband and I got room 13. We are so happy with the view and on top of that we are thankful for the complimentary coffee which I think is delicious. It could get better if we got provided with small container of milk We got a cute little welcome letter which I really appreciate. There's an AC unit that is VERY useful as the sun hits the room. The bed that we have is fairly comfortable and has lots of pillows. For a pet friendly stay, the room is spotless and has no typical odor.

This very cute little Lodge is in an amazing location (driving)!close to everything. Make it your hub to explore the Island. The room had the most AMAZING views! Misty first day but then clear views all the way. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Best check in ever, wishing all hotels were this easy. Park, go to your room and use the code that was mailed out to you the day before arrival with room number. The Spa Tub and Views were unforgettable I already miss waking up to it. The restaurant the Malahat Chalet also amazing staff , views and the food was good too. I heard it was under new management. We really enjoyed our stay and explore all the way from Port Renfrew , 5 beaches on the way back, stopped in at Shirley Delicious and the Sooke Provincial Park along with the swimming potholes. On the other side of the lodge we explored the Kinsol Trestles, Shawnigan Lake, wineries and ended with the Malahat Skywalk on our last day before heading into Victoria to catch our ferry back. We will be back again to this Lodge! Thank you Moon Water Lodge for making our stay a memorable one!

I think this is a great deal if you're not super fussy. It's pretty basic, but I thought it was perfect if you don't want to spend a ton of money. Nice little kitchenette, comfortable bed, fireplace, clean, except for the carpets, beautiful view. I would have liked a little more attention paid to the outside balcony. It is such a nice place to sit and enjoy the view.

What a beautiful stay, the location is fabulous, the room had everything we needed. Although the restaurant is closed at the moment, it gave us the opportunity to sit on the balcony and soak in the views with our glass of wine and charcuterie. The sunset was spectacular and the sunrise breathtaking. A lovely spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Will definitely be going again.

What a beautiful place! We stayed in the king panorama room and were so happy with everything. The bed was comfortable, the room was a great size and of course we took advantage of the beautiful bath tub with a view. Check in and check out was super simple. We ordered take out from the restaurant next door and were very happy with the burger and garlic ribs.
